Re: [HD] Roseville,MI going digital starting in June

Looks like the update is also hitting Chesterfield's system.

Cool, but still happier with U-verse.

Havent heard of any additions to the HD lineup. Not sure how many are there now. Weve got 57 in Grand Rapids. Probably going to take about a month after the changeover to make any major additions. Thats just a guess tho..

I hope the change to digital paves the way to more HD. Muskegon has only 14 HD channels including premiums, so we are way behind the curve.

Thanks again for the information. Let me know, if you get any further updates.

Page has been changed to Friday's date (5/29.)

(The new page does have a better explanation...I was wondering why channels weren't changed today.)

Downriver still not getting upgraded soon Ahh well, will get Docsis 3.0 and new HDs soon, I hope ?!

Well they moved a lot of the channels here last night . Big spaces where the "coming soon" HD's will be. Wonder how long before we get them?

They sent me a new channel line-up list in the mail, along with flier stating they will be adding the HD's soon, but there is no timeline mentioned....
just a kind of generic statement that says "Under construction", coming soon -- up to 100 HD channels.

Yep mine moved too. No Hallmark Movie Channel on 177 or ION HD on 237 as stated on the channel list. I also have been promised the missing HDs will appear in the BIG gaps, but who knows when?!

The HD before the D3 for sure.

After an area is converted, you should see more channels 6-8 weeks afterwards,

Just got a letter saying how to get the DTA's.
Some channels will be moved to digital by June 29, and the switch should be totally done by July 14.

Cool, but it's time for Comcast to get a new guide that supports friendlier channel names and/or logo's. I never would of guessed what TRAD was! NICHD, shouldn't it be NICKD? ESWHD, shouldn't it be ESNHD? It's starting to get confusing with lackluster identification. I know it's the current software limitation, but I hope they eventually fix that.

yeah it is a little confusing..lol
thats why I listed a couple names after the channels.

Edit...I actually screwed up travel
I edited the other post too... it should have been TRAVD.
I wouldn't have known ESWHD either.

I wish they had this in Sterling Heights. Would love to get Travel Channel HD for Monday's episode of Anthony Bourdain's show and see him and Detroit in HD.

Update: They switched the other channels yesterday..I had to put the DTA on the bedroom TV.
Works OK...2-100...only get a couple of channels above 100. Can't wait till we get the rest of the promised HD's.
*taps foot impatiently* lol

You are far ahead of us all Downriver, so be thankful! You will probably get D3 before us too...

Yeah, I know, hopefully they'll get the transition done for all of SE MI quickly. Then we'll all get the HD's and DOCSIS 3.

Hey mustang46, have you received ALL of the hd channels shown on the pamphlet on page 1 yet? Just curious because I wanted to compare the digital transition in your area to the upcoming transition in my area...

They are adding a few at a time...as you see by my earlier post on 7-8 they added 15. They just added 12 more 2 days ago.
We now have 71 w/premiums. So I guess there's about 30 more coming.
