As the subject says. Apple will simply be class of its own but will also come with a hefty price tag, even for something that is supposed to be a cheaper alternative...

If it really is a tablet it will easily be worth it. But if it's a tablet, it will be $800 more than a normal netbook.

Maybe it would but who cares. Most netbooks are taking market share away from higher margin machines from the same companies and are cutting into the overall revenue. Apple is not interested in selling things barely above cost just to get market share like other companies are willing to do.

because, everyone wants a tablet.....though most wouldn't even know how to use it....lol.... i have a friend with a tablet who didn't even know how to lay the screen down.
