Re: Kerrvile, TX 40M+ (DS3 replacement)

Unfortunately, the port is Qwest, not the loop. The loop is effectively a combo of AT&T and Windstream (yep, two loops). Also, this side of things probably won't go anywhere...I'll probably be back on here later with a quote request for something, but it won't necessarily be the Kerrville location.

Good afternoon, I recieved the pricing back for your DS3. I wanted to check with our engineers to ensure we can drop the circuit to you. The great thing is . If we use my Loop & Port I am $3859.91 for a full 45MB with SLA's. That does not include the router. Let me know how we look. Thank you

If that is indeed the price, that is significantly better than anything I've gotten so far, actually.

Not to put a damper on all this but iansltx did state:

Problem now is that there's nearly two years left on the Qwest DS3 contract...wonder if there's any way to get around that if the port is still Qwest...

Going to be some time at a guess before there can be a move

That being said - nice pricing from Paetec

Thanks for the kind words. If you are able to change or want additional circuits please use me as a source. I'm honest and will ensure your circuits get installed and performance meets your required SLA's.My email is paetect1@yahoo.com
Have a great weekend.

Check your PM box. I sent you a different address to check, one that will need bandwidth pretty soon and is exploring options actively. If anything competitive can be found, it'll be nice not being single-homed to TWC fiber...a few miles over at »pvco.net the guy is having a crappy time with them.

Hello, I recieved the pricing back for your second location.

Try this address:
415 S Washington St
Fredericksburg, TX 78624

Price per month for full 45MB is $6867.39. $500 install...

Is this something they are looking at to install with in the next three months. Please advise

Yes, however not at that price.

FYI for everyone else, please give quotes on the Washington St address. Anything lower than $110 per Mbit would be appreciated (TWC fiber is $110 or so per Mbit at that location at the commit being looked at).

Unless there is a major change in the way things are working, the circuit would need to be a bit higher-priority than the "let's see what happens" quote I requested earlier.

Qwest is in the $5,500 range (not the magic $110/M though)

I am sure you will hear from others with better pricing but at least it gives you a number

Cheers and a happy 4th to all
