Re: A sad day for us all

He would be pleased...Who am I kidding? He would be going on and on about making too much of a fuss.

So I'll just say that I am pleased, and thank you for adding The OG to the Honor Guard.

With his wit, I'm sure she just smiled and rolled her eyes a lot.
Enough that I'm surprised one didn't stick.

If she can put up with OG, she can figure out teh intarwebs. I'm sure he kept her on her toes.

With his wit, I'm sure she just smiled and rolled her eyes a lot.

Small steps here people. I just showed her where the power button was this week. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
She'll be off and running in no time, once she discovers the net. She'll become addicted just like the rest of us.

Nobody should have to go through what he went through, NOBODY. So now it's back to job #1. Get em crunchin' and find a cure.
That is why we're here and the memories of our many friends and relatives who have had to go through the battle with cancer keep us crunching til no one else does.

If Old_Grouch's wife is online at all give her an invite to join us here. That'll keep the computer on and allow us to offer support to her as we did her husband.

Thank you to all of you for the thoughts and well wishes. Old_Grouch/Mike/Dad was laid to rest today. I shared all of your posts with his wife and she was truly touched to see all of his friends and teammates posting their support and condolences.

Even in his absence, his computer will continue to crunch for the cure. (as long as his wife remembers to leave it on ) He would have wanted it that way. Nobody should have to go through what he went through, NOBODY. So now it's back to job #1. Get em crunchin' and find a cure.

You have my sympathies. You, your family and his personal circle, and old grouch himself, have my prayers. He was always really neat in what he did on DSLR.

Rest in Peace in the better place!

Thank you Jay for letting us know.

Very sorry for the lose of your father, he was a good man and made me laugh when things probably where not so good for him.

He was a comrade at arms and a member looking for cures just as the rest of us. Your father as well as our other fallen friends are a constant reminder why we are here and why we need to keep going until we find cures that will take no more.

My sincerest regards/ Slava

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."-Revelation 21:4

Dear Lord-I long for the day that your hand wipes away every tear I have cried. As I live in this broken world, I find hope in your promise that there will be no more death, crying or pain for those who
dwell with you.
