A loss that some of us have also experienced and have known your feelings.

Take heart that he is without pain and will be in your thoughts always.

I cried today. I don't do that often.

For all the smiles his example of tenacity and his wit have given me, I am forever in his debt.

God speed, OG.

My sincerest condolences to the family, Jay.

My condolences as well. Mike was always a loyal teammate and an inspiration to us all throughout his fight. This makes us even more determined to find the elusive cure to this evil disease.

Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. "Old Grouch" will be missed around here, but not nearly as much as he will be missed by you.

May the warmth and love of family and friends support you during this time, and may the beauty of good memories give you joy.

As someone said, "Memories are roses in December."

Peace . . .

I cried today also -- several times. And I'll probably be weepy some more too -- and that's okay. But I can't begin to find the words to express how sad this made me. He was "Old_Grouch", Mike, an irreplaceable teammate, and a friend.

Your father, a man that I never met face-to-face, reached out and touched my life in a very selfless, compassionate manner. I'll never forget him...

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Jacquie

Jay - Words cannot adequately express my feelings of sorrow for you and the family as well as Mike's extended family here at Team Discovery.

If ever a name was a misnomer, it was "Old_Grouch". In reality, Mike was the exact opposite and touched many people at Team Discovery.

To say he will be greatly missed is an understatement.

Jay -

I can't tell you how sorry I am to here of your fathers' passing. Please accepts my condolences.

Your father and I had many a conversation here and on another forum, long since gone. He had a true wit about himself, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Be at peace OG

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."-Revelation 21:4

Dear Lord-I long for the day that your hand wipes away every tear I have cried. As I live in this broken world, I find hope in your promise that there will be no more death, crying or pain for those who
dwell with you.
