| MJ is muted for incoming calls with Greandstream 502
I was able to setup my magic jack on GS502 behind Linksys router/modem.
Issue I have is that on incoming calls the phone rings and I can hear the other party but they can not hear me. It is like the phone is muted.
Outgoing calls work fine.
Tested with different phone but same results. |

It is not a MagicJack problem.
It is a GS502 'problem'.
Since MagicJack does not support any devices other than their own, and since the 'other device configuration' discussions take place here, this post belongs here.

First, try the GS as the only thing on your 'net connection (direct to the modem, no router in between). If that works, you need to configure a STUN server and NAT transverse for the GS to learn its public IP. |
