I currently have the $69.99 double play (phone + 20/5) plan. I would like to upgrade the internet to the 20/20 plan. Will I get charged an ETF or some weird billing charge? How will Verizon activate the upgrade? |

Of course, what you may end up dealing with is a mess of a bill...Maybe you'll get lucky, though. |

| reply to Hispanic You should not have to pay an ETF, since as seaquake said, it is an upgrade.
Do not expect to keep your double play discount, however. The 20/20 speed tier can not currently be bundled. |

ETFs only come with a cancellation of service. |

If you have a bundle and change to another bundle you will not get charged an ETF. Now if you unbundle everything, they can charge you an ETF. I know when I had the double play this was in the fine print. So when i dropped my landline I changed to the Flex double play and was able to avoid an ETF |

When I dropped my landline if I had not previously changed my bundle to a flex bundle(cell and ExtremeHD), they would have charged me an ETF. |

I would like to pay $69.99 for TV and Internet 10/2.
Would add Verizon cell phone service but they do not service one of the areas that is manditory for me.
Do not need no silly land line.

When I first got Fios the guy told me an ETF would only apply to internet. But we've all been told a lot of things... |
