You have to tell your firewall to allow ICMP packet go though to your computer so that should be pingable.

Please run »/linequality here and post in your thread here to show if where any ICMP packet is timing out as dropping out on floor caused by router or cox router networks...

It would be pointless since the reason the OP is posting is to become pingable.

Expo what model router are you using? For most makes/models theres usually an option that allows for remote connections from the outside to the router, enabling that option will make your WAN IP pingable. Also i'd turn off DMZ

OP were saying that his both router and firewall both been turned off, OP just wanting to allow his ICMP packets go though out of his computer in order to be able become pingable.

Well the OP hasn't given any information, is he plugged into the modem directly or through a router, and what model router he's using if he is on a router.
