anon : I lost connection today because of a storm we had and when I got a connection again the top light stayed on like it's suppose to, but the bottom 3 were constantly flashing erratically. They'd flash at different times and only light up for a split second, I am not talking about how they do when you reboot the modem they were flashing very very fast and did this for approx. 30 min. All of a sudden the lights went back to normal, the top 2 stay on, the bottom 2 flash.

I had internet connection the entire time and the net speed stayed the same throughout.

What happened here?
