Re: Westell phone splitter not working???? First, try a different filter(which you call a splitter). 4 usually come in the box. Make sure you are plugging the modem and phone into the proper sides. If no help, you know it's not the filters.
Second, is your phone a 2.4GHz? If so, no good. Your wireless modem is a 2.4Ghz. You could disable the wireless in the modem and check to see if your phone clears up.
Third, there is a chance your jack has bent pins inside and are touching. I've seen it. Take a look and make sure they are shiny and all four are not touching or look crooked. Try one of those to get started. |
