Any chance your 'thing' is a Motorola 2200 router? Can you give us any clue what your thing is?
"My car won't run, how do I fix that?" does not help mechanics either.

| So we have one of those motorola DSL modem things, and lately, the internet has been turning off. It works if the power cord is unplugged and plugged back in, but I don't know if there is a way to stop the internet from going off? We've had it for about two years I believe, and maybe its just getting old? I dont know, help? |
