what games do u play? 4890 is an awesome card and has some real gameplay improvements over 4870 in certain games. if youre satisfied with your FPS/quality settings in current games just wait for the HD5000 series. crossfire is OK. i run HD4870x2 and it's overkill for the majority of games i play (1920x1080). |

| I run SLI GTX260's, and I agree - It's overkill for the majority of the games out there. There are a few games where i'm glad i've had such power, however. A single GTX260 or 4870 1GB will be just fine for a while still.
