Secure Customer Contact with Comcast on BBR

Many have asked for it. It has been a long time in the works. At last it is here and the Comcast Direct Forum went live today.

This is here for those times when BBR members who are Comcast customers would like to confer with the Comcast representatives who are here in an official capacity. It is for those times when Comcast may need to look at your account and it would be a security issue to post personally identifying information in the public forums.

When you post there you will be speaking directly with Comcast representatives who are members of this site for the purpose of officially representing Comcast. You will only be able to read posts in your own topic. The reps will be able to read/post in all topics.

The Comcast HSI and Comcast TV forums will still be as useful as ever for discussion and troubleshooting. As long as account info is not needed to go further with troubleshooting, these public forums give benefit of assistance from all members.

Would this be the appropriate place to discuss billing issues, or is it strictly for technical support?

Yes, most certainly that is the correct forum as it would involve revealing your account info, best not to post that in a public forum.

Use it in the same way you would use other support channels, such as a telephone call to Comcast Customer Service, online chat support services, the offcial Comcast support forum, etc. Comcast is offering their support in the Comcast Direct Forum as a convenience to our members. Since you're already here, it's just a quick and convenient way for you to contact comcastcares See Profile' support team.

There are many times when the public forum gets you the best of the best, but when you need a Comcast support rep to look at your account or use company diagnostics, that's when you would want to call or use one of the many means offered for reaching company support personnel. That now includes the BBR Comcast Direct Forum.

I have used it twice and they are super support people. I still have a small problem but I'm sure they will take care of it as soon as they can.

My thanks go out to all the support reps.

Excellent! ComcastSteve was able to resolve my 2 day issue that wasn't resolved after 3 calls to tech support and a scheduled truck roll.

Thanks a lot!
