| Re: Verizon Reseller? said by iansltx : I'm curious as to why I didn't get any Verizon Business quotes from the agents I polled (some here, several elsewhere)... I guessing because agents get paid a percentage of the invoice monthly, which means that customers have to stay happy over the term of the contract, or they'll quit early. us old guys have learned our lesson. speaking only for me, YMMV.
You might also verify with "DigiTel" if they are truly reselling Verizon, or if they are aggregating. Aggregating would be if they buy a DS-3 (equivalent of 28 T1s), and then selling more than 28 T1s to customers -- effectively oversubscribing, which is what DSL and cable companies do. | |

| I second Rocky's "message". I stay away from Verizon ... as an agent and a customer. They're really hard on both.
I do have them listed in my stable but I really prefer to stear clear of them. I don't recommend Verizon even though they are listed. When they pop into the equation I cringe. Like Rocky I know better.

| Wow - harsh on Verizon
I have a very nice golf shirt from them so I sell them - I have a couple from XO - sell them to - anyone else feel like sending me a golf shirt - the Wiltel and Broadwing ones are getting out of date - used to have a UUNet shirt to - I just wrote MCI over it then Verizon.
Maybe you should look at a wholesaler vs an agent - although if they are including hardware then that is just not a fair way to play - their network is pretty good as they say
