Cisco 1131AG, WEP and WPA work, but not WPA2

I'm building a network as an assignment, and I'm required to use a Cisco Aironet 1131AG Access Point, and use it to make one SSID connect via WEP key, which works fine, another SSID to connect via WPA and a few others to connect with WPA2. I'm using a laptop with Windows XP Pro SP2 using an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG adapter. I've managed to get WEP and WPA working fine, but I'm having trouble with getting WPA2 to work.
I've used the GUI to set encryption to TKIP on the correct VLAN and set open authentication, then gave an ASCII preshared key for WPA2 and the GUI didn't report anything being done wrong but when I fill in the information on the laptop for a new preferred network, it just does not connect. I also tried using AES as the encryption with no difference.
The only thing I feel I can note about the laptop is that the window used for inputting the connection information asks for Open, WPA and WPA-PSK authentication but not WPA2 so I assume choosing WPA-PSK authentication with TKIP or AES (whichever I've configured) should work with WPA2?

no it will not, you need wpa tkip on both unless the comp supports wpa2. can't avoid using wep?

Well the wireless adapter on the laptop is supposed to support WPA2, but it doesn't have any options to use WPA2 for authentication, only Open, WPA or WPA-PSK.
Unfortunately it's a requirement for me to use WPA2, so it's possible seeing as previous classes have done it. I've configured WPA2 on the Access Point, both in the GUI and in the IOS but the laptop doesn't ask for WPA2 authentication and doesn't connect if I try using WPA-PSK with TKIP/AES.

see if you can obtain updated drivers for that adapter + fully update your computer

I don't have access to the equipment until tomorrow afternoon (it's 8.04pm now) so I'll try updating the driver, maybe also the firmware when I can tomorrow.
Do you have a wireless adapter on a machine you can access now? If so, can you possibly take a screenshot of where you select WPA2 authentication?

That's quite different to the screen I use on XP (which I'll assume you know). The XP equivalent of that field only shows the 3 things I mentioned before, Open, WPA and WPA-PSK. Do you think updating the driver/firmware may add WPA2 to that list? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

OK the screenshots from SoonerAl have confirmed that the laptop I'm using currently can't use WPA2, so I'll wait until I can update driver/firmware tomorrow, otherwise I'll probably start going in circles.

Thanks for the help so far guys, hopefully it will be concluded tomorrow.

I'm using a laptop with Windows XP Pro SP2 ...
You need to install SP3. That service pack contains the WPA2 support.

Thanks guys, I used the hotfix from the previous post and that solved it. If I can, I'll also get SP3, but downloading from this specific network is quite limited. Anyway thanks for the help, now to set up radius!
