Re: 4870s thats a strange resolution...i assume its 16:9 and a step above 1920x1080. 4870 will be fine for all those games, at least for now. im not one to always tell ppl to wait for the next round of updates, but IMO ur systems is up to snuff if you wanted to hold out for the 5000 series or maybe GT300.
otherwise its a tough call. 4870 XF will certainly be better than upgrading to 4890 and with the cheapness of 4870s it's probably the better choice even if you were to sell the 4870 after buying 4890.
