 | [RANT] COLD! I am glad I am getting closer to moving south. It is almost June and almost have to put the heat on. When you factor in the rainy days in the summer with the cold you end up with a couple of weekends of decent weather. Oh...and I hate it when someone says, "It is still spring." We do not have a spring....we have cold and hot. I prefer the HOT therefore the South is the place for me. I would much rather try to cool off them warm up. There, I have got it off my chest. |

| I prefer it hot myself: I'm very very thin and prefer it about 80° to 90°.
Unfortunately, due to my financial state I don't think I'd be able to move easily. Looks like I'm stuck enduring the Connecticut winter. I can tolerate it but that's about it. -- HCN: Because you deserve a rest!

| reply to Sky King It was 48F in the middle of the day yesterday in Danbury, I had to put some heat on. Today it's a warm 61F (as I type this).
You are correct, it is almost June and we have March or very early April temps. Connecticut is too cool this year. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

 | reply to Sky King Glenn, like enough said, give it a rest. It's May! It's going to be in the 70s all weekend. Winter is over with. Accept it, or move to Alaska. |

You are correct, it is almost June and we have March or very early April temps. Connecticut is too cool this year. If I were mystical, I would say it's because my wife's parents arrived here at the beginning of May, from the sunny, hot Philippines. It's been chilly and rainy ever since they got here. I've not seen anything quite like it since 1977. |

| As I type this it is 66F in Danbury. I guess it could be warmer elsewhere in Connecticut. For me this has been an unusually cold spring. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

[edited forecast low; the Great White Fathers in Taunton have it a bit too low; they still don't know the difference between Hartford and Worcester] |
