Re: Just Wait! Please re-read my comments. Sen. Joe McCarthy was a Senator, not a Representative. He had zip-all to do with the HCUA (your first link). That was damaging, yes. But not his baby.
The list he gave in his "Wheeling" speech (your second link) was not a black list, per se. He gave speeches (demagogue). His worst acts were investigations of VoA and IIA. He had nothing to do with what the HCUA did, or what happened in Hollywood.
