Bottom three lights flashing constantly--second light flashing 2 times quickly--internet connection not interrupted... The Rx light (second one from the top) blinking twice and your Internet connection still working, suggests there is a malfunction in your modem. It could be a hardware malfunction or programming error in the firmware. As opus74 suggested, power cycle your modem to see if that fixes it.

| Seems others reporting this same problem.
"I called customer service and their records indicate that my service has been intermittent since the 22nd. They have set me up for a service call by one of their technicians for this Friday morning. I will keep you all informed. Also, the rep I talked with mentioned that there are a lot of their customers experiencing the very same problems... in fact their equipment is telling them that the 2nd light down is on steady, when it is in actuality doing the 2 flash - pause -2 flash thing."

I did the power cycle thing when I first noticed the light blinking, did nothing. It blinked that way for 3 days, as I said, then last night it went back solid and is still solid. Strange. |
