kudos:4 | Wow I fell into that trap. I didn't even realize they were only an inch different. I saw 8" and 10" and thought they were 2" different. It's just like people selling things for 999.99 and they market it as "under a thousand dollars". No one sees the 99 cents on it so it might as well be a thousand dollars.
In any case yeah between screen size and battery differences I could see the price difference. But yeah it really depends on the technology driving the LCD. If either one of them is using LED instead of fluorescent then that could easily account for the difference, even at 1". That's the way new technology is, even if both are using LED. Given they are netbooks I'd suspect they are since LED's use little to no power and low power usage is a highly touted trait of a netbook. |
