[Cable] MTU question

I am on my Windows XP laptop connected to my wireless AP. My MTU is showing up as 1300 on the tweaks test. Is it 1300 because of the settings on my AP or because of the settings on my laptop?

• What OS?

• The router should be set to auto (1500) or 1500 for cable.

• In The Doctor, set the MTU to 1500.
