I was infected by some virus becoz of which I deleted my entire windows xp and installed a fresh new original copy of windows xp, I formatted only my C partition but i dont think so the same virus must have reinfected my PC, because this is not a virus but simply a ad-ware (hope I am correct)

I ran a full scan using avg 8 free, MBAM paid, they did not detect “adware-relevant knowledge” threat.
