| Licensed PowerBoot Since when did this become a licensed technology? Cisco has done this for what, almost 10 years now in the corporate world?
I think I will patenent the drive thru window and then license it. What kind of idiots do these cable companies hire to do PR? |

| Comcast developed this technology for their network and put a patent on it. Which gives them the right license it. Do they charge other cable companies? probably not. |

kudos:2 | I don't believe so. My understanding is that DOCSIS provides the ability to dynamically uncap/burst connections. I believe "PowerBoost" is Comcast's trademark name, hence the licensing.
