TWC Possible Business Model idea

A combination of SPEED and CONSUMPTION

1.5 Mb - $15
5 Mb - $20
10Mb - $25
20Mb - $40

5 gig - $10
20 gig - $20
100 gig - $35
Unlimited - $50

This isnt exact numbers. Its just a model. There are some people that want fast speeds for gaming, but may not necessarily use a lot of bandwidth, but there are some folks that leave the computer on all day doing torrent downloads that need the bandwidth, but speed isnt as big of an issue.

Thoughts?

@comcast.net

If they make it so you have normal pricing and another option then it might work. Why not have flat pricing and then have another option like

10Mb / 100 gig - $10
or
10Mb / Normal service - $40

Such things might actually lead to consumer satisfaction. We know we cannot have the consumer actually benefiting along with the company. The thing that is surprising is that everyone is talking all about caps now it seems that no one is even trying to getting faster speeds at cheaper prices. All this attention has focused on caps and how much of a cap. If anything we should be looking at Lafayette price models and trying to duplicate them.
