Several XOHM kiosks in Baltimore-area shopping malls have closed, and some staff, including the guy who was supposed to be the Washington-area regional manager, have been let go. I terminated my membership in February but left my desk modem set up. It has never indicated a signal since then. I note that the Clearwire (not XOHM) web site indicates that Clearwire serves smaller markets across the country and charges more than XOHM charged. It seems Xohm has disconnected their service in any cities which have signal but not officially launched yet.

I don't know why and for what reason because all customers using Xohm outside Portland, Atlanta, Baltimore are actually paying the service.

Since then I haven't been able to connect at all.

I know that the DC area is still just under soft-launch and was never "officially" launched - so I did expect this to happen at some point.
