 New Mini-ITX 1080p playing silent (HT)PC

AWESOME!
This is awesome-amazing:

»mini-itx.com/2009/05/12/zotac-io···d-review

This is a first of what will soon surely be a stream of Atom+Ion platforms: low power consumption yet powerful enough for anything short of hardcore gaming

Near-silent and small enough to hide behind your monitor

Also - what's great - is that for $170 you get all this (and it includes a silent-brick DC power supply)

Add RAM and a Hard-Disk and you're done!

Very impressive! »www.tomshardware.com/reviews/zot···300.html

The Atom 330 is yet another model from the Diamondville family, running at the exact same clock speed and sporting the same 533 MHz front side bus. The only difference is a doubling of on-package die, resulting in a dual-core CPU with Hyper-Threading able to address four threads at once. It uses the same .9-1.1625V range, and thus consumes exactly twice as much power: 8W instead of 4.
EDIT: Never realized the ATOM 330 is a 64 bit chip.

Not a bad looking board. Not much cheaper then a core-2 duo minii itx board though.

Perhaps, but you'd still have to buy a CPU. And is the integrated video of said Core 2 Duo Mini-ITX motherboard able to play back full 1080P HD video (possibly, given the power of the CPU)? What about power and cooling requirements? I don't know the answers off the top of my head, but that is important information when making a comparison to the product listed.
