This should be fun! ha. what do you think i'm pulling this from! my zombie plan. I mean in the winter it's cold enough to freeze the lake and the area's around it so frozen zombies. Use that time to start building a wall around the island and BAM. instant no zombie land. -- Mafia: »Pub Games Remember the golden rule of the internet..it's the place where men are men, women are also men, and children are the FBI. |

| Lake areas can be dangerous, though, as zombies can become frozen or active (depending on the depth) under the ice. Then come thaw, they start coming out unexpectedly. I understand the wall is there, but you have to gather sustenance from the water somehow, and that would increase the risk of surprise infection.
Of course, going anywhere short of the arctic still leads to the thawed zombie issue. And a lake would provide multiple resources in which to sustain life on the island.

| reply to muzscman An island in the ocean is better because the zombies walking around under water are often pushed out to sea by the underwater currents in the ocean. Zombies bodies do break down and fall apart faster under water than above ground, so the further the zombies have to walk underwater the better the chance they will be misdirected or sufficiently deteriorated.
Best case scenario, a large (large enough to support farming and livestock, or well stocked hunting land) Island in the Ocean with natural Cliffs... It would be really nice if it had a small (uninfected) human population that had self-sustained hydro-electric power.

| Ok, so here's my next thought.
We run this game like a real-time thing. Days can't be more than your normal 9-5 work day or maybe like 9am-9pm. Then the night phase goes on.
This game is involved in the day and night phase for EVERYONE, so we need to make sure we have time for both.
As always, will stop on the weekend.

| 9am-9pm....what time zone? I'll assume eastern. so, for me, that's 6am-6pm for days and 6pm-6am for nights. How much am I going to need to do during the night phase? The 6pm-6am hours are pretty full for me. I also know that some people can't play at work. -- flickr gallery | photo blog (rarely updated) | play mafia! |

| Backing up what bjl is saying. Some days a player may only have time to log in, read what's going on, post their thoughts, and send a PM out for an action if necessary. Just want to be sure that if some people play a day/night time in that fashion for a day or two out of the week, that it won't ruin the game. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |

| Ok, well let me talk to Muz about it again.
There's a ton of things that can go on in both the day and night phases. You just have to be able to pay attention.
This is NOT you're average game, so don't think of it along Mafia lines. -- Are you in, or are you out? »Pub Games The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return. |

| I'm not trying to stall the game or anything, it's just some of the players aren't as active as others are. That should be taken into consideration when determining how many actions are necessary over a day or night phase. -- Play DSLr Mafia: »Pub Games |

I wouldn't want it to break the game, but people not making it could just make the game that much more interesting.
....or it could break it irrecoverably and it would go down in writhing, burning flames and in history as the worst fucking idea ever thought of by man.
