1 edit | [BC] Shaw: web pages slow to load I've been talking to different people around a 20 Km radius of where I live and they all have similar complaints about Shaw: web pages are slow to load.
Now, using Speedtest.net as an example, I get speeds of over 8000 kbps using standard high speed, but I do agree that the web pages seem to take a while to load, say, compared to Telus. I know some people who switched to slower Telus and they "feel" their speeds are faster because browsing seems more responsive and faster. |

| It's all about latency with some web pages loading. Do comparative tracerts the to the same websites to see if they are way different. |

I downloaded DPC Latency Checker and I'm getting on average a latency of over 1000 us with peak of over 1700 on websites. |
