I don't think so. You take Lakers best game and Magic best game and Lakers will still win by double digits.<br><br>Game 5 Magic came out strong and almost lead by double digits and yet they lost by double digits too. <br><br>Wehn Magic won in Game 3, they played the best game of their lives...setting a record for FG percentage and yet they almost lost to Lakers who played poorly.]]></description>

I don't know if it's from not playing for so long or what but he did not make smart plays when the game was on the line.  <br><br>And what were they doing on that play where Fisher tied the game up with 11 seconds left in regulation almost completely uncontested... why did they have Lewis and Howard on the inside.. on that court only Fisher, Kobe and Ariza can make three's just guard them at that point a 2 point shot is a gift and if they don't make it you don't have to worry about a rebound just foul them... it was such a poorly drawn up play.<br><br>When the Lakers took them in to overtime, I knew they had won<br><small>--<br>Amateurs study tactics. All happened at the end of regulation and OT.<br>Let me preface by saying I'm not an Orlando fan or Lakers fan.<br><br>But...<br><br>1) The shot that Fisher took to tie the game, he took 3 steps before throwing up that shot.  When he received the ball on the break, he caught it with his left hand and moved it over to his right hand with a slight fumble of the ball; while taking 3 steps.<br><br>2)Kobe's elbow to Nelson jaw was too obvious. <br><br>3)Paul Gasol fast break where he dunk the ball in OT, he took 4 steps.  I mean come on!!<br><br>But still Orlando lost the game by all the free throws they missed, and (IMO) Nelson should not have been in the game that late.  Rayford Alston sat on the bench majority of the 4th and all of OT.  WHY!!!<br>Nelson had 2 point and 1 assist during that stretch.( he ended the game with 6 points, 3 assists.)  Alston had 11 points when he was sat down. ]]></description>

Lee misses a layup to go into OT.<br><br>Lakers need to win one in Orlando and then they're home free.]]></description>

LA recovered and pressured the short shot but the shot banked off too hard and hit the front of the rim. As good a look that the shooter had, he should have made it. I believe it was Magic Courtney Lee that took the shot. Some reports say it was a layup, I say it was closer to a 4 footer, with Lee sliding through the air parallel through the lane, catching and shooting in one motion. Not an easy shot but one that a pro should make. Don't give Howard the same look on defense every time.   Expose Rashad Lewis on defense; he can't defend the 4 position inside causing help defense to lead to easy passes.<br><br>Game 2 will be closer of course, the Magic won't miss so many three balls, but if the Lakers hustle on the boards and maintain the rebound advantage they have this in 5.]]></description>

If he can play like he did against the Cavs they are the better team. If he's in foul trouble and missing free throws then the Lakers will probably take it. <br><br>Also the Lakers need Odom and Gasol to step up. Just like Lebron and the Cavs, Kobe can't beat a whole team of this caliber for a series. One or two games maybe. Also, of course, if the Magic continues to shoot the 3's so well it will open up Howard to score a lot easier. <br><br>Should be a good series.]]></description>
