lauraDomestic BlissPremium join:2002-04-16 San Jose, CA | replacement screws for TV stand does anyone know if replacement screws for a TV stand can be bought at a hardware store? Im looking for the ones that go with the BN96-07182A stand (for a samsung 37" LCD) and the screws are BN96-01800A but when I google it I only find places to order it online. If I go to OSH or Home Depot will they know what I'm talking about?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I know next to nothing about this stuff
Thanks in advance -- 43 things |

| You would do better with a picture. In my last count there were a gazillion types of screws.
Better yet, take an existing screw if you have one and try to match as close as you can at the hardware store, Lowes, HD. The Lowes around here has a fairly good assortment. |

 | reply to SparkChaser Unless I buy a common screw/bolt, I always go to either McLendon Hardware (a small local chain associated with Ace Hardware) or Tacoma Screw (a regional chain). Both have much better selection than any of the big box stores, especially in case of a specialty store. There should be similar stores in most areas, and some Ace or True value hardware stores have a very good selection of fasteners. -- And the winner is: |

Most big chains have gone to blister packs of just a few sizes. |

Thx! -- 43 things |
