And I always thought you're able to login into your modem and router with the PPPoE login.. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/273051"><b>HiVolt</b></A> : Is your ST516 modem handling the PPPoE login (your internet access login), or is the Belkin router?<br><br>If your Modem is set to handle the login, and the router's WAN port is set to Automatic or DHCP, then you end up with a phenomenon known as Double NAT, in which case port forwarding does not work correctly.<br><br>You need to put the ST516 modem in bridge mode, and configure your Belkin router to handle the PPPoE login by entering your username & password in it. That will allow the port forwarding settings in the Belkin router to work properly.<br><small>--<br>GOLF LEAFS GOLF!</small>]]></description>
