| dsl with two dsl modem?
I want to run a twist pair (cat-3) between two house - can I use two DSL modem - back to back ? will this scheme work or I'm better off getting two T1 CSU/DSU and put back to back - with one clock master.
Somehow I think the T1 CSU/DSU is a better scheme? |

1 edit | DSL modems are master slave so you would have to find a single port DSLAM.
Why not use Ethernet extender? How long is the run? If it is less then 300 meters don't even need an extender. »www.ethernetextender.com/etherne···/860.php »www.blackbox.com/Store/Results.a···2577/p-0
If you are installing cabling between buildings have you though about fiber? May be cheaper then copper and eliminates lightning hazard. If you run copper be sure to use high quality surge protectors at each end. Copper to fiber Ethernet media converters are cheap, about $100 each.
