Re: How's your speed for June?

My speeds have been unusually slow about .25mb/s down and .1 upload also get many request timeouts when i tracert to google or other sights. I am noticing if reboot my kyocero kr1 i get much improved pings and downloads upwards of 1mb/sec again. Anyone else notice this? I just ordered the cradlepoint mbr1000 and u300 modem, i was going to do it anyway, hopefully keep my unlimited status as well. Anyone else in a similar situation?

As posted before AT&T continues to sell more powerful iPhones without putting in any structure to support the New Load.

Interesting:

Not surprisingly, Verizon and Sprint top AT&T in recent 3G test - Pali Research : Pali Research notes a report on the performance of 3G wireless networks in the U.S. released yesterday by PC World supports their belief that Verizon and Sprint are delivering high quality data experiences for customers while AT&T continues to suffer with reliability issues. They believe it is far more important for wireless cos to deliver consistent data speeds to its customers than it is to eke out an additional 100 Kbps average download speed. VZ and S delivered their promised speeds 90% of the time in the PC World report in 5,400 individual tests across 13 major cities. Conversely, T reliability was at 70% with one market only performing as promised 52% of the time. VZ and S had no markets below 82%.

Better speeds now (at 10:50 PM) but still WAY slower than normal. We found out our neighbor is having similar issues so I suspect it's a tower issue. Yippee.

After 2 hours on the phone with sprint, this is my current speed:

*sigh* They're putting a ticket in for an engineer that should get back to me within 72 hours.

My speed is awful. Used to be decent. Now, IF I can get a speed test to run, it's generally about .01 Mbps! Ugh.
