As plain as it gets. I do like the dark gray/brown theme with mint though. |

I went back to my old standby.. "Desktop that is."
Ubuntu jaunty, AWN,Conky, and Compiz, and Screenlets.. I plan on keeping this wallpaper for a while. It is the only one that looks the best with conky beside it. |

still on Mint 6 x64 just waiting for Mint 7 x64. Think I might try out KDE for awhile just to change things up a little. -- "The Internet: where men are men, women are men, and children are FBI agents." |

 | Thanks, but I actually got it working. I thought I had it enabled already and it was just giving me a weird flickering. Now I've set up a few things that I like, such as a Mac-style expose for open applications as well as workspaces, the cube, and extra animations. My wife's eyes have rolled so much that I think they've rolled all the way around, but I'm happy with it -- Ali Fazel i2Telecom Representative |

My media and file server running Ubuntu 8.04 server 64 bit. I installed Ubuntu-desktop because I run a webcam using Wine from the server and needed a GUI for that. I access the server using VNC. Hardware is an old socket 754 board with an Athlon 64 2.2 and 2 gig of ram. A recent hard drive failure caused a reinstall and I added a new 1 TB HD. System is installed on a 80 Gig drive. Running three total drives with a total of 1.4 TB of storage. I don't normally run Conky on this box, I fired it up for the photo op. -- I thought I made a mistake once but I was wrong |
