OK - the remote scanner access works good across the LAN - now to play with my firewall, and see if I can get it from the outside...

And yes, I'm a member at RadioReference... Never would have gotten the scanner programmed so quickly without it!

I would recommended a real obscure port since there is no way to authenticate with the software. That plus dynamic DNS service to always find your way home.

RR is great and worth every penny for automatic database import.
