I ran the speed test through my laptop which was connected to the Linksys. When I had it set up here at the business I was plugged from the 2wire lan into the WRT54-G internet port. Then I was wirelessly connected to the WRT54-G (I am sure) with my laptop. The WRT54-G while connected and working in the business was in DHCP mode. I don't understand and would love to... why it is that it works in the business... but when I bring it back to the house it doesn't and I have to change these settings? The set-up is exactly the same... the only difference is the Ethernet cable which I tested and works.
