The tech who did my install also noted something similar with the Cisco boxes. But in my area eveyone still gets the Motorola boxes. Since when? Unless something has changed (I will verify this later just to make sure), I have been able to record, schedule, delete and pause from ANY stb for quite some time. Infact I know this since I do a lot of work from my office. Here's something you all might find interesting:

I signed up for Uverse last week (southeast Michigan). I have 6 televisions in my house (nevermore than 3 on at a time). As most know each television has it's on box - on June 15 AT & T will enable DVR functionality on EVERY box providing me with over 700 hours of recording space in SD or 200+ HD. Each DVR will be accessible from any TV.
