I wouldn't think it's a BW issue from the RG\DVR\STB since both coax and CAT5 have plenty of bandwidth.  I wouldn't think the coding would be that difficult, but I could be wrong.  The only reason I could see would be hard drive speed in that seek read\write times would have to be fast to support 4 STB's recording\playing simultaneously.  Perhaps someone else has more info?]]></description>

Unless something has changed (I will verify this later just to make sure), I have been able to record, schedule, delete and pause from ANY stb for quite some time.  Infact I know this since I do a lot of work from my office.  Although I think it uses the Main DVR stb to do all of this, its not standalone on each STB.]]></description>

I have 6 televisions in my house (nevermore than 3 on at a time). As most know each television has it's on box - on June 15 AT & T will enable DVR functionality on EVERY box providing me with over 700 hours of recording space in SD or 200+ HD. Each DVR will be accessible from any TV. If in fact both people were telling the truth AT&T just trumped every service out there.]]></description>
