Same here. Charter rocked me for over 9 years. Never had an issue to speak of.

Only reason I switched to Verizon was the threat of Charter monitoring usage and NOT telling it's customers or having a way to determine/show your usage.

Turned out that I got faster speeds with Verizon and it's $7 a month cheaper!!

Otherwise the big buyer would be Time Warner Cable (they serve Kansas City so the STL market isn't too terribly far away). Problem there is that TWC is stuck in 2002...they don't want to deploy DOCSIS 3.0 anywhere unless there's heavy competition, and they want to cap everyone as soon as possible to protect their TV revenues.
