[Notebooks] Notebook Recommendations for friend

I have a close friend who will be doing some sales in regards to funeral homes. Will be doing video presentations. He needs one with some things in mind. Some are basic, but one thing isn't. He needs the following:

Fast enough, partial to AMD but not required. (has owned AMD for many years and likes them)
Basic stuff like, 3 or 4 gigs of ram, big hard drive (320, or less is ok)

Some of the non basic include:
Video out, rca preferably. He will be doing presentations at peoples homes and would be nice to be able to hook up to their tv's. Or at least have the option. hdmi would be nice too.
Swivel screen would be sweet. Easy for people to see the screen.
He wants widescreen, or something easy on the eyes for videos.
A decent video card would be nice. For future use. I don't want him to be stuck with a crappy video card and want to do HD. (doubtful, but i don't want to hold him back.)

He has had bad luck with Dell, and wants to stay away from them. (and toshiba.) We have had great luck with Acer. (Have 2 older 3613lci, 2 newer laptops, 1 desktop, and i personally own an acer aspire one. All great!) Acer would work, and is usually cheaper. Other brands like gateway or HP/Compaq are ok too.
Don't want to spend $2000 or anything. Saw a couple acers on tiger direct for $599, but that was one search. Doing more soon.

Might get a verizon data card eventually too. (I have sprint, and like them, but they don't offer service in the town he lives. Just roaming. zip is 61410. U.S. Cellular isn't evdo and the only other carrier for data is a small carrier named Simmetry PCS and they have worse coverage than sprint.) I don't think he wants it built into the laptop but wouldn't mind a usb or expresscard. He likes the speed of my sprint data card. Not now, but eventually.

Are we asking too much?
Thanks for any advice!!
Dan
