said by siljaline:Avoiding the obvious, why are you still running IE6 ? for what its worth - most network engineers still run ie6 on their computers (mine included) because most of the cisco web administration pages do not render correctly under ie7, ie8, ff, or opera. some are also highly dependent on the java version you are running at the time. because of this, i will not upgrade my browser to ie7 or ie8 (yes, i know there is compatibility mode in ie8, but i don't like the layout either  ).

Re: Microsoft's new Bing search hijacks Google toolbar in IE6 They may say that they fixed the problem but I still can't search from the IE 6 address bar without getting thrown into bing. Sorry, I have IE 6 at work and don't think my complaints will get a very large state agency to upgrade. FRUSTRATED!!! |

They did fix it. It's your network admin that hasn't. I'm willing to bet that he/she has not pushed the update to the masses. |
