BT2700HGV and nas drive

Im using a Synology DS207+ nas drive connected via ethernet and the LAN led is constantly flashing (on modem and nas box) about every 10 seconds it will flash approx 10-12 times and also all the leds on my Belkin network switch flash at the same time, it makes no difference weather the Diskstation is in sleep or not, this even happens when no computers and connected, all was fine with my old linksys modem
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Re: BT2700HGV and nas drive

Nothing to worry about, it's ARP broadcasts.
The 2700 seems to send ARP requests far more frequently than other routers. It's particulary bad when other computers have been connected in the past but are now disconnected, it seems to be constantly trying to find them!!

Thanks guys
Is there any way to change the frequency of the ARP requests?
