yeah, i went through the screen to define a custom service, everything seems right as far as the router goes. i checked using grc.comand it shows as stealth. pretty much at a loss at this point. |

| reply to now here On my 327w, this shows up as "applications" on the menu. Exactly where it shows depends on the firmware.
If you went through the screen to define a custom service name, then you should have found the right place.
How are you testing this? You won't be able to test from within your own network. You will to have it tested from outside. If you are using something like GRC.COM, then does the port show as "stealth" or as "closed"?
If it shows as "closed", then you are done as far as the 327w is concerned and what remains is to run the software on your computer. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 327w modem/router; openSuSE 11.0; firefox 3.0.10 |

@verizon.net
| hi, i cant seem to forward a port for microtorrent.
ive followed the guide here: »www.portforward.com/english/rout···rent.htm
and although mine is verizon instead of bellsouth as in the guide, the steps are very similar and i feel like i have done everything correctly but when i check, im told the port is not open.
ive tried shutting off my computers firewall, and that makes no difference so im really not sure what to try next. |
