Re: WZR-HP-G300NH purchase info requested

Thanks for the great review. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions.

1) QoS VoIP. Will it throttle all other traffic so to prioritize VoIP? Do you just set priority by MAC addresses? I'm considering dropping my analog phone line & switching to T-Mobile @home.

2) Bit-torrent client. Any experience with it? It would be very cool to just have an external hdd plugged in rather than keeping my desktop powered while downloading.

Thanks in advance.

1. should be yes but I have no experience with N routers.
2. I don't do p2p.
That is why I am discouraged by the amount of participation here. Maybe the folks in Networking can help. I brought their attention to a previous issue here and they jumped in.

i have a buffalo linkstation (500GB NAS) and i use the bit-torrent client. I can say it works very well but has a few issues.

1) lack of user controlled settings. it only has port, bandwidth management and seeding settings.

2) if you use a login in site it doesn't work because it has a different address from what you logined in with
