I'm glad Retro TV has standards, WSAH obviously doesn't care. |

| reply to Greg2600 said by Greg2600 :said by MacGyver973 : They being RetroTV? If so, then it's vindication for many of us here who felt the technical problems were WSAH's (or Retro's) and not Verizon's. No, WSAH decided to drop RTV because RTV was having the technical problems. That's WSAH's side of the story, anyway. |

Unfortunately, there are few other channel choices for RetroTV to get onto, in the NY-metro area. Most non-PBS independents air non-English, religious, or infomercial programming. |

Matt this whole thread reminds me of when apps fist came out in the early 90's testing some new fangled method to make phone calls over the internet, I bought the microphone and got all set up, it was lousy(before ATM was really used for outsiders). I gave it all up because of quality. I never liked small dishes and fought the urge for years and kept the large BUD "beautiful" dish for years (still there actually) eventhough I was forced to go to Dishnetwork as more of the encrypted stuff just would not be "sold" over the 4DTV boxes(another borings tory)
anyways I think we should pool our resources and make a pitch to whomever owns the TVLAND brand (CRS is getting worse) and make a pitch for TVLAND2 (to "sample" mtv's naming techniques) and see if we can get all our favorite childhood shows on
I'm voting for
Emergency CHIPs (reason i came to Kalifornia embarrising I know) Perry Mason Batman & Robin Lost in Space cartoon series of the Lone Rangers cartoon series of Speed Racer I dream of Jennie Gilligan's Island Canon Barnaby Jones (the whole saturday or sunday night line up on nbc) Macmilan and Wife Columbo Dennis Weaver Cowboy detective (CRS at work) the wonderful world of disney bewitched Star TREk ********************trekie alert my favorite martian coutship of eddies father gunsmoke pettie coat junction Lassie Flipper I love Lucy wagon train the andy griffith show the green hornet getsmart the brady bunch the partridge family happy days the 6 million dollar man the bionic woman little house on the prairie t j hooker policewoman the red skelton show carol burnett jonathan winter show andy williams show hawai five o magnum pi ********* night rider air wolf ************* mork and mindy moonlighting remington steele ******** the A team **************** three's company the MUNSTERS ********************************* Alf Welcome back Cotter square pegs punky brewster facts of life Webster ALL IN THE FAMILY "moving on up the east side in aNew york apartment in the sky" DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| TV Land 2 is a great idea. I'm a bit older than you, but I love your list and would expand it a bit more. Even including some long-lost TV movies.
Yes, some of these shows are online, but I'd rather be comfy while I watch them on a big screen.
And, the Dennis Weaver cowboy detective series was McCloud, a part of NBC's Sunday Night Mystery Movie. It was based on the Clint Eastwood movie Coogan's Bluff, about a Southwestern deputy in NY.
Also, you can rent episodes of some of those shows, Hawaii Five-0 for example, through Blockbuster Online or Netflix. Or, buy them as season sets. »www.tvshowsondvd.com
But, many shows and movies aren't available anywhere, and that's a shame. Mark F. |

| reply to icemannyr1 For many of the shows you listed rtcy, the rights are held by a channel, but they don't show it. SyFy channel is a prime example. The way of the future, as strange as this sounds, is to watch the old TV Shows on the Internet. Albeit in lower quality. |
