Looking for internet near Pink Hill, NC (Around $300/month)

State: NC
Zip: 28365
Address: Tram Road
City: Mount Olive
Phone: (919)-658-xxxx

Thread title is pink hill since its much closer, but thats the actual city we're seen as.

Looking for pretty much any type of connection. Speeds would be preferably above 512k down/256k up

What is out of the question is evDO (Sprint, AT&T, verizon, alltel etc), satellite (ping, cap, speed, reliability), cable (no cable lines), dsl (couple miles to far). If it has a cap of less than 20 gigs, thats also a no-go.

I am aware that with all that, my only options would be a fixed WISP, a T1 or similar, or fiber.
Anything works however, so long as its around $300/month or less.
If a phone # is needed, we don't have one at this residence as we only use cell-phones, however if required for a more accurate quote, I could provide one of a local business.

Thanks alot

FYI even the cheapest t1 will most likely be out of your budget, though you may be able to get something close like around $350. With construction costs being involoved, any thing fed any kind of fiber(bell or whoever your cable company is) would also be outside of your budget.

Fixed wisp price point would most likely be under your budget, but depends if its in your area.

The 3G fixed wireless solution by voice_data is EvDO, albeit with a more solid setup and no cap/overages. So probably not good for your situation.

Also, Accel Networks who is the provider of that solution will not guarantee anymore than 768k/384k. I am personally using it and have never seen anything more than 512k down and have been repeatedly told they are unable to do anything about it.

Well, its only around $300 a month. $350 is also acceptable. I just want to try to avoid anything past $400 since thats a bit much.

Well, it does beat dial-up which we would be forced onto once our current contract with alltel is up. With what we do, we cannot do dial-up.
