Download DrTcp

Set Tcp Receive Window to 64240

Set Windows Scaling, Time Stamping, Selective Acks, Path MTU Discovery, Black Hole Detection to Default.

Leave Max Duplicate Acks and TTL Blank

Save/Exit DrTcp

Reboot

Rerun the Tweak Test

Run Two Speed Tests from the two DIFFERENT cities nearest to you that are listed here: Speakeasy POPs

Also, test here »ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512

Note your transfer rate after about 30 seconds. Then cancel the download.

Post the URL for the New Tweak Test. For the TWO Speakeasy Tests, Copy and Paste the speed results from those tests and note the speed from the FTP download test.

Speedtest.net :

I tried 64240 like you recommended before and I found browsing speeds to be slow but speeds the same, I calculated the above value based on my average ping times.

Speed test from Speakeasy Chicago :

Last Result:
Download Speed: 9458 kbps (1182.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 6045 kbps (755.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Speed test from Cogeco (our fibre provider):

That’s about as good as it gets. It isn’t going to get much better than that. Put a fork in it you’re done.
