No Contract. When you call the number to activate the modem they will ask you for a contract. But Say no and choose whatever plan. My interpretation:
I make that out to be the modem at $100, the service for 3 months a value up to $140 ($46.66 max service value per month credit) and the additional $50 for a total of $290.

If you choose a higher Hi speed that costs more, the credit won't exceed $46.66 and you will pay the difference but if you choose a lesser service they will pay up to the value of that service for the month and the actual credit to you would be less than $140 over the 3 months.
