The only other unknown I see is the possibility of installation fees because if there is only one cable feed into the house you have to split the cable going into the modem at the source with a proper splitter which most home owners don't have so it will probably require an Rogers tech visit. A few years ago, they waived the fees when I first installed mine but I don't believe they always do it.
There's only an installation fee if you request an installation but you're buying the self-installation kit so no install fee is charged. The kit also includes a splitter or at least mine did. |
