Re: 2700hg-b f/w 5.29.109.5 for non-AT&T customers well, that would be a AT&T firmware that was released for AT&T customers. YOu can just punt and pray you get it, but they would not be obligated to give it to you since you are not an AT&T customer.
Probably the only reason why you might have gotten it is because the 2wire's key code is still set for AT&T.
I would change it if it was me.
