anon posted : I just got my june bill today I had 20.50 overages to my already 55.60 bill. However, overages were credited because of their probs with the meters. Doesnt say that on bill so the average joe must be like what the heck. Does anyone know if overages for July will be credited. Im not over yet.

Also shouldnt cogeco just upgrade you to the pro for the month. 55.60 +22.50 would be more expensive then the pro with less usage and speed.

diskdocx posted : There's no incentive for Cogeco to listen to those pleas.

For the most part, consumers have a choice of Cogeco (or Rogers) vs Bell. Yes, there's resellers, but the average consumer doesn't look beyond the big ISPs.

And, the problem with Bell is location. At best, they are the same as Cogeco.

So, why would Cogeco listen? While I hear the arguments that it isn't Cogeco's fault there's no competition (and I don't disagree with that), it IS Cogeco's decision to, in spirit, collude with Rogers and Bell to offer limited choice.

In other words, to take advantage of the situation.

Why? Because there's no reason not to.
